You can book the Tiddington Community Centre (TCC) by emailing rob.cobley@touchwoodonline.com.

 

The TCC is a great venue for all your parties and events and a licensed bar can be readily approved for qualifying functions. The TCC has a full Premises License and has recently been almost completely refurbished. It is an ideal location for many varied activities and events.

 

The TCC is licensed for 200 and can seat 120+ depending on the layout required, all on new comfortable light-weight conference seats! We have 144 of these! We also have 40 additional light-weight chairs that can be quickly laid out and easily put away again.

 

With a full size stage and side entrances plus the meeting room serving as a changing room means that plays, shows, bands etc can all easily be accommodated at the TCC. In 2011 we will be hosting the third TCC Pantomime and again there will be 5 performances!

 

    

 

Last year we were delighted to have Paul Daniels together with lovely Debbie McGee performing at the TCC!

                     They were brilliant! 


 

 

THE COMMUNITY CENTRE - FACILITIES

The TCC consists of an entrance hall with ladies, gents and disabled toilets including baby changing facilities and full disabled access.

The main hall itself is some 14.9m by 8.9m plus a raised stage which is 6.8m by 4.9m plus two side areas and on the stage is our own upright tuned piano!

 

There is one meeting room that can be reached with independent access from the car park or via the main hall and is 3.3m by 6m.

We also have a store room off the main hall where we keep 40 light-weight chairs, 10 light-weight gopak 6ft by 2.5ft tables as well as all you need to keep the TCC clean! Plus our youth group BlueFish also keep their table games here.

 

The kitchen also off the main hall and with independent access from the car park has fully fitted cupboards, 2 fridges, a commercial cooker and commercial dish washer and an ample supply of quality crockery and cutlery. Plus around 50 or so wine glasses and some tumblers. There is a small per head charge for larger functions for the use of our crockery, cutlery and glasses all of which must be washed and put neatly away after use! We have sufficient for 120+.

 

Eight 5ft round tables are kept on the stage and are available for hire at an additional charge for larger functions. The premises have a full entertainment licence and are licensed for the sale of alcohol. Approval for the provision of alcohol for a function has to be agreed in writing in advance and an appropriate fee paid. We have recently purchase 120 comfortable light-weight conference chairs plus 24 matching arm-chairs. 

 

The main hall has a PA System plus a Loop for the hard of hearing, new curtains and drapes for the stage plus new front of house and stage lighting. In addition we are the proud owners of a new 4m by 3m electric screen and ceiling mounted projector plus a Blue-Ray DVD player, a CD player and PA System with 4-way speakers!

We also have wireless Broadband installed.

 

The main hall and stage both have newly sanded and varnished floors and the main hall is sprung for dancing and includes a ceiling mounted glitter ball.

In December 2010 we have added an independent CD/DVD player, tuner and two powerful speakers which can be made available for all future hires!

 

Parking

There is FREE parking for approx 24 cars - more if parked with care!

 

Charges

Basic Charges start at £14 per hour for private local functions and a higher charge of £20 is made for non-charity commercial events. A returnable deposit of £100 is made to cover any damage or breakages etc.

There is a small per head charge for larger functions for the use of our crockery, cutlery and glasses all of which must be washed and put neatly away after use! We have sufficient for 120+.

With appropriate skills and for an additional charge you can also hire the PA system, Cine projector and 3.5m screen, Stage lights and controller.
