COMMUNITY NEWS No: 16 Spring 2011

 

The latest COMMUNITY NEWS 16 Spring 2011 is available now in PDF format by clicking on the list to the right. 2,500 full colour copies were printed and  1,800 are being distributed to every household in the Parish of Alveston. If you have not received your copy  as a resident in the Parish by about 10 March please do let me know giving you address and we will make sure that you do!

 

If you cannot open the pdf file I would also be grateful if you could let me know? However you may need to be a little patient after clicking on the button above as it is quite a large file even in this format.

 

Those of you who are regular readers of the Community News (CN) will notice a dramatic change in the format of this quarters CN and before I tell you why this has been I would like to hear your views and comments both positive and constructive!

A Royal Welcome!

Yes that's right two Kings in Tiddington this quarter! The first mentioned is THE KING's SPEECH. This BAFTA Award winning Film will be showing at the Tiddington Community Centre on a wide 3.5meter Screen on Friday 6th May 2011. Doors open at 8pm when refreshments will be available followed by the film at 8.30pn. Come early to get the best seats!

 

The second King is ELVIS! To raise desparately needed funds for the conservaion of St James' Church in Alveston there is a LIVE concert featuring ELVIS & MATT MONRO in a fun evening at the TCC on Saturday 12 March 2011. Tickets from Rob at £7 each.

 

A side panel gives details of the Blue Fish Youth Group for ages 10+ who meet at the TCC every Sunday at 6pm.

Also the TCC Bonus ball where you can win £25 every week playing the lottery!

 

And of course our brand new WEBSITE at www.tiddingtoncommunitycentre.org.uk where you will find details about all the activities and events at our Chrurches as well as the TCC.

Plus an invitation to contribute to the next CN or our website.
