Activities and Events in the Parish of Alveston!

 

On this web page we will cover the various activities associated with our Parish both of a religious nature and also Social and Fundraising. There will be some overlap with the other Parish web pages and also with the TCC and I'm sure that these will be sorted out over time! However we wished to have one page for all Church type Events and News and this is it!

 

The problems with the tower at St James' can be seen below with the barrier set to prevent parishioners and visitors getting too near the falling masonry and roof tiles!

Saturday 12th March 7 for 7.30pm

Tables of ten are available at £70 and of course
you are welcome to book individually
at £7each and we will find you a
great group to share the evening with...
We will be offering Refreshments and a
Bar as well as a great value Raffle
with all profits going to the urgently needed
funds required for the Conservation of St James'!

Lent Meetings
Lent Meetings this year will be based on material from a York Course entitled

Tough Talk-
 Hard Sayings of Jesus

You are welcome to come and explore some of the hard to understand/hard to take things that Jesus said. 
 
Meetings are 7.45 - 9.00 pm on Mondays during Lent, beginning on Monday March 14th
