PROBLEMS AT ST JAMES'
Many of you will have seen in the local press recently that we are having severe problems with masonry falling from the Tower of St James. These pieces of stone are also falling onto the main roof and have broken many slates and these too are now falling to the ground. In order to avoid any accidents we have errected barriers all around the base of the tower and both adjacent sidestiles to protect all visitors and parishoners. You are also advised to enter and leave the Church quickly and to not stand talking anywhere near or under the barriers. It is advised that to visit the Churchyard that you use the side entrance and nit the main entrance on Church Lane. Any further information can be obtained from Rob Cobley, Churchwarden or our Vicar, Rev'd Canon Richard Williams.
